I'm going to order earplugs. I'm ordering EARSoft yellow neons, and they're $25 for a box of 200 uncorded pairs. I get free shipping if my order is more than $45, so I'll probably order two boxes. If anyone else, local, wants a box, I can get you some too. I'll probably order them on Monday morning, so let me know by then if you want some.

They are 33. I don't know of any that are higher than 33, and of the 33's I've tried these are the most comfy.

I've been buying mine by the 10-pack at the drugstore (Howard Leight LeightSleepers), and it's probably time to invest in a box of them. Might encourage me to NOT reuse the same set 5 times.

A trick I learned (and have not yet implemented) from Elizilla is to take the dirty often-used earplugs and put them in the washing machine. Put them in a delicates bag first, says she.

I'd stay away from the dryer though. One huge glob of earplug probably wouldn't fit well.

Some earplugs handle this better than others. And it takes them a long time to air dry.

It's probably a moot point for me for quite some time. I picked up a sample pack of many different types of earplugs, then bought a 200 couth pack of the one Rennie liked best.

Of course it's the colorful (and soft) striped one. < laugh >
