The support call you hate to get

My mother just called me here in the middle of the day while I am trying to work, and asked me to help her find her C: drive. This computer came to her preloaded from Dell and I'm sure they don't send them out with the OS on some other drive. If she's in Windows and she's not on any network, she must have a C: drive. I had her try several different routes into C: hoping to find one she couldn't mess up, but no matter what I have her do, she keeps telling me it is taking her into scandisk. I have no idea what she's doing. Sigh.

Maybe she was *IN* scandisk and didn't get out of it? I dunno.... just rambling.
