Creeping crud

When will it end? This is the fourth day that I have had no voice. Yesterday I felt so awful I took a sick day from work. (I work from home, no coworkers to infect, so normally I don't take sick days.) I stayed home from Tios on Tuesday as a favor to my friends, no sense exposing them to this. I missed the AASFA Baord meeting last night as a favor to the other board members. I have been turning down all the various invitations I have gotten for this weekend.

One the bright side, Michael is very sweet. He went to the store last night to get me the things I wanted, and he made jello for me.

Everyone else should stay away from my house. Plague within!

If it doesn't get better soon, you *will* go see a doctor, yes? Sometimes you can heal yourself, but sometimes good old fashioned antibiotics are the ticket to happiness.

Cold are usually five to seven days for me. I am feeling a little better today, and my voice is starting to return. I just have to finish hacking up my lungs and I'll probably be OK. :-)

I'm glad I didn't stay the other day. However, I wish it was an option. I hope you feel better soon. If nothing else, I'm glad Michael is being a saint. :)

I find that if you quit smoking it helps a lot. Oh, wait. Never mind.

But seriously, this does suck greatly since your job is phone support. Hope you get better soon. If you don't, please go to the doctor.
