I’ve fallen and I can’t get up

Covid shots are rough! Yesterday I had to call 911 twice, to pick me up and put me back in my wheelchair. I refused the ambulance ride both times, and that was the right call. Today all is well, except the bruises still hurt.
Need to make more careful preparations before I take the next shot.

Covid
Date: 2024-10-28 02:06 am (UTC)That seems to be the most common work-related "injury" that us bus drivers have to deal with. Well, I do, at any rate; I've been zapped three times by Covid-19 since I came out of training in November of '21, most recently the first week of September with the newest strain (which, lemmetellya, is absolutely NO JOKE!). It's "the gift that keeps on giving," and we tend to get infected proximally from many of our more indigent & unwashed clientele. (CATA has occasionally been referred to as "Cedar Point for bums.")
I'm totally up to date on all possible vaccinations for all possible bugs, up to and including the sicknesses you can only contract by injecting an entire Vietnamese jungle into your arteries (ah, the show-biz life...). But six weeks later and I'm still not quite back to 100%. I am in awe of you having to deal with it on top of your MS. I doff my chapeau in your general direction.
