Once again, Michigan is enveloped in smoke from the forest fires in Canada. Today is the worst day yet. I worry about the kittens. We have the house and garage closed up but still. I moved the air purifier that normally sits by Scotty’s litter box, to the garage, since there is no AC out there.

I think a lot of the smoke inhalation concerns are long-term effects, which shouldn't matter as much for dogs and cats. Mark and I are wearing masks for dog walks (we are dogsitting right now,) but there's nothing we can do for the dog. I mean, he's 12 years old and seems fine?

We're worried about his mom in Cleveland because she tends not to believe stuff like this. She can't see it, so how bad can it be? *sigh*
