With the departure of the Super10 rig I am looking at the Can-Am Ryker. It's not nearly as cool, but with the three wheels, reverse, and no left hand controls, it is something I can ride with no mods. And they are quite affordable.

Posted to sabmag to see if anyone had thoughts and within minutes I got the classic "It's OK for a girl" response. LOL! Being a woman is not the handicap I am concerned about here.

I don't see how they could _not_ be a fun ride, so why not?! Wow, I didn't realize they were priced so reasonably - compared to other bikes these days at least. I was all moon-eyed over a Triumph until I saw the price tag...

That response must have been off-list...

Ahh, ok, as you womensplain it to me ;-) I definitely can see your point. :) (Joke alert!)

I peeked at them some more and noted they use the ACE 600 and 900 motors, which have a very good reputation in the snowmobile world. fwiw, snowmobiles do a lot less miles typically, but they are hard miles.

Can Am ATVs have an internet reputation of being high performance, and not so high reliability - compared to the Japanese manufacturers. I didn't consider them for an ATV since Yamaha made what I wanted. Wouldn't stop me from a Ryken though, because I wouldn't buy anything but a Ski-Doo snowmobile at this point, and I am quite enamored with the ACE 900 for sleds, the reliability is great on those. So the internet rep may be worth what we pay for it :)
