Our house is painted again

elizillaThe painter who was out there on Tuesday, is back today. I never managed to get out and see her work before she left on Tuesday so I am glad to get another chance.
Just after she arrived, I got a text. Steve's daughter sent us a screen cap from Facebook. It is a page called "Friends of Dexter" and someone has posted a photograph of this painter, taken from behind. It shows the painting in the foreground and our house in the background. So I guess I now know more about the painting. :-) But I am not entirely sure how I feel about it. On one level it is quite gratifying and I am pleased to get a glimpse of the canvas, but I have long had privacy concerns about getting tagged on Facebook. On the other hand, here I am blogging about it. Online life is odd.
The painter we are hosting says they each get to exhibit three paintings in the show. She has done 8 or 9 so far and was asking for my thoughts on which ones to show. The fact that this other painter has come back, implies she is making a further commitment to her painting of our house. Maybe it will make the show. I should at least try to get down there and see it today.
