Gmail saga continues

Thanks for the IP addresses that others are seeing for gmail. I now have learned that that 216.58.216.197 IP address works for other people, but there are a variety of others that people get besides that one. But when you go directly to any of the other IPs, it pushes you out to the main google.com page.

Not sure what to try next. Perhaps I will have to call AT&T and wait on hold for hours, see what they have to say. Because the problem continues.

You might be able to convince your Mac to use the working address by using /etc/hosts:
