Snow shoveling

elizillaThe wheelie shovel runs out of usefulness as the snow piles get deep. You can only toss the snow so high with it. This morning I watched Steve overcome this limitation, by bringing a piece of plywood out to use as a ramp. He was able to pile the snow much higher. Such an engineer!
But it was still an overwhelming project, so I am grateful to the neighbor who came with his plow truck and cleared the berm that the city's plows had piled up at the base of our driveway. The sun is now actually melting the sidewalk clear even without any salt.
