There are four houses on my block, on my side of the street. One was for sale at the same time as mine, and needs a lot of work. Work trucks have been there but no one has moved in. One went on the market a month or so ago and now has a Sale Pending sign. And the people next door moved out about two weeks ago. These were the stressed-looking neighbors I have mentioned before, with the bored ten-year-old and the colicky baby.

The For Sale sign went up last weekend, but it didn't hit the databases until yesterday - I was watching for it because I am nosy. :-) The pictures of the inside look fairly nice. I have a good view of their driveway and the road in front from my desk, and I swear that a half hour hasn't gone by without some car pulling into the driveway or pulling up out front. There was one car this morning that circled the block a dozen times, slowing down each time they passed, gazing at it from either direction. Right now there's a minivan sitting in the driveway.

If they don't have multiple offers by the end of the week, there is something horribly wrong in there.
