Talked to the letter carrier

This was a very small town experience. She knew which box was mine, and also was able to tell me what is in it (no packages yet), and that the previous owner's change of address arrived yesterday. She says there is mail in there for both me and the previous owner, and if I will just take mine and leave the previous owner's, she will get it and take it away for the forwarding.

She says if I receive any packages too large for the box, she brings them to the house. I don't have to worry about getting "Pick it up at the post office" type cards.
