Christmas acquaintances

This holiday season, it seems like every time I have gone out shopping I have run into former coworkers that I haven't seen in years. I guess it really is a small town, and we're all out and about in it a lot more because of the season. It's fun to catch up. The one I ran into last night was my coworker when he was just out of college. He got married that summer, and divorced a year later. Apparently he found someone else - he now has five kids. Whoa.
