Anyone who hasn't visited xkcd today, needs to check it out. Munroe has done something very special, and I doubt it will be there for long.

Homage to bad web design circa 1997

He'd changed the background to black with little twinkling stars, and all the boilerplate was done in "Comics" font in various sizes and colors with blink tags. There was a scrolling text bar that said "GeoCities is shutting down today. To commemorate this occasion, this site has been redesigned". There were broken html tags scattered everywhere. There were those little yellow and black "Under Construction" gifs, and a whole bunch of web awards and web ring icons. At the bottom it said "Best viewed with Netscape 4.7"
