Power outage

Our power just came back on after being out since Wednesday. Three nights without the CPAP makes it feel like much longer! I spent one night in my recliner and struggled up the stairs to bed twice. We ended up bringing solar lights in from the front yard, to light our house at night. And manually scooping the Litter Robot.

It’s odd to be without power for so long, here in town. DTE had a bunch of trucks on our block, Thursday, and got everyone but us and our next door neighbor going. But they missed one downed wire in the trees out back, and with half a million households out, it took a while for them to get back to us to finish the job.

Fortunately the weather has been spectacular, no need for AC or fans.
