Oct. 7th, 2019 12:52 pmI didn't like the iPad choices at Costco. They had only the more expensive options. So I came home and went online, and found a new old stock 6th gen, with cell, for less than a 7th gen with wifi only. My iPad, the one she has used, is the 6th gen, I know it works for her and is solid. I got a case, and another of the same red power cords I got for my dad. That way I can identify cords via phone. "Just use the red one!"
Once again, cell data so I can track it with Find My iPhone. It is worth the outlay every month, to have an electronic locator.
Updated 10/9: The SIM card arrived today and I have tested it. Find my iPad works, I can see both iPads, the one still here and the one my dad has out at his house. I'll let my dad know that both are on the same account and if one gets lost he can use the other to find it.
Now I am just waiting to heal a bit more, before I give them the new iPad and let them see my face. Don't want to freak them out. The swelling has gone down and the bruises are starting to fade.
