Amazon steps up their game

Just this past couple months, Amazon Prime has started delivering to my neighborhood with their own liveried vans. They aren't new vans though; they're beat up and shabby even as they are new to us. Also, instead of two-day shipping it's often now one day or even same day, even when I tick the box for "No rush shipping". I'm thinking they must have opened a facility very nearby. I don't like watching them dominate like this, but I'm glad to see them providing those vans. I never liked the way they made the working poor use their personal vehicles. I hope that if they are sending out liveried vans, the drivers are employees, and are treated as less disposable than contractors.
