Gmail

Anybody else having trouble getting to the gmail servers?

I'm wondering if it's my ISP? (Which is AT&T, fwiw.) Steve got it to come up on his phone, but neither of our computers will load the page.

I did some web searching. Google itself comes up, and I am not turning up any current news stories about outages.

Tracert is able to resolve, and it hops from here to sbcglobal.net, to att.net, with a few IPs in between. The last is 216.239.51.225 and after that it's all "Request timed out."

Oh well, time to go to bed anyways. Tomorrow maybe it will work.

Gmail still down

At some point the gmail pop server was up long enough that I got a few messages with time stamps this morning. But it's not up now, and I can't get to the gmail.com website.

Weird.
