Tree trimmers are here

The tree trimmers have arrived. They were just getting started on the tree out front when a red truck from the city arrived. Turns out we were supposed to get permission to trim trees that are on the city easement. As soon as they confirmed we weren't taking the tree down, they promptly granted that permission. I had assumed that they didn't care, since some of the other street trees on our street have clearly not been trimmed since the day they were planted. But I guess they care enough to at least check on us.
