Squirrel baffling

The squirrel baffle I installed last year, has worked for a long time. But a squirrel just made it to the bird feeder. He jumped from the porch roof to get there! From where I sit at my desk, it was like he came out of the sky. I went outside and he took off, but I'm waiting to see him make the jump again. Or miss. :-)

Edited to add: Ten minutes after I posted this, he was up there again. Each time a pedestrian walks by, he jumps down and runs off, but within minutes he's jumping off the roof again. I'm not going to chase him away every few minutes, forever. I guess he will just get fat, until I find the next squirrel baffle to try!
