A cool thing about my new home office
Sep. 6th, 2013 11:12 amMy desk faces a window that looks out the front of my house. This side street is popular with people who are out for pleasure cruises. Every Saturday, hundreds of bicycles and motorcycles ride by. The town parade staged here. And they all slow down to make the corner, so I get a good look at them all.
And today? In the last half hour I have seen several dozen antique cars drive by. Model Ts and suchlike. I'm not a person who can identify the models of such vehicles on sight, so I don't know exactly what they are. But they all have that open carriage styling and engines that sound like lawn mowers. Neat! It must be some antique car club out for a scheduled run.
I never thought of this, as an advantage of this location. It's a completely unexpected bonus. I love it!
