Watching the grass grow, 2
Aug. 26th, 2013 10:25 amThe grass is finally coming in, everywhere except the places where people have driven over it. Which keeps happening - people can't seem to keep their wheels on the driveway. At this point my car is parked in the center of the driveway, blocking any other cars from even *thinking* they might fit in there. Children on bicycles still keep riding over it and leaving narrow stripes, and there are a few muddy footprints, but maybe those will grow over on their own.
I'm not a golf course grass person. If Lowes had bags of crabgrass-and-dandelion mix, I'd plant that. I just want to keep the ground next to the driveway from eroding in every rainstorm. The established lawn is tough and withstands people driving on it occasionally. But getting from here to there is proving difficult.
