Texting

I hate texting. I don't have a smart phone or a phone with a keyboard, and I don't have a texting plan. But realtors seem to prefer it above all other communication methods. And it looks like I will be having to communicate with realtors a lot, and not just temporarily - I could be dealing with them for months or years. So maybe I should stop being such a luddite and get a phone that will do it more easily.

Any recommendations that won't jack my phone bill way up?

Prayer is putting one foot in front of the other

I just signed the paperwork for an offer on the house in Dexter. It would be nice to get it, but frankly I would settle for a meaningful response of some sort within a few days.

It's crazy how I scramble to quickly provide pages and pages of firm written commitments, bank approvals and signed documents, and if I get any response at all it's like something from a magic 8 ball. No seller has ever given me a written response, or even a solid "no".
