Interesting times

This week I've read several tales of Urals catching fire. Apparently the fuel tank overflow hose on some bikes, is routed so it drips on the exhaust collector. Or if that doesn't do it, the hack windshield can focus sunlight on the seat and set it on fire.

I think my bike has had a minor case of the sun heat problem. There is a spot on the seat where the finish is a bit strange. I bet it got cooked at some point in its life.

I already took the hack windshield off, but this weekend I definitely need to check that hose routing.
