At least I got one thing accomplished today

Tonight I stopped at the Chinese takeout for dinner. When I got there, I discovered they were having drama. The swinging door between the kitchen and the dining room had torn loose from its top hinge. Peter was out of town and Jennie was freaking out because she didn't know how to fix it on her own. When I arrived she was calling a friend she thought might be able to help, but he was in Ohio and couldn't come until tomorrow. I went home for some longer screws and my cordless screwdriver, and it took all of five minutes to fix the door. The three screws holding the hinge in at the top had torn out of the door, which was not surprising considering they were only about 1/2 inch long, and it was a heavy wooden door on stiff springs. I replaced them with much longer screws.
