So, there I was, riding along kinda fast on I-94 near my house, a little after dark, when in my mirrors I noticed an aggressively piloted car gaining on me fast, making a lot of violent lane changes. The fast car got right on my tail and started flashing its brights at me. Then they turned on a spotlight, moving it around, flashing my mirrors like they wanted to blind me.
Cops drive like that, and have those moveable spotlights. Was this a cop? I looked at my speedometer. It read 95mph. I know the TDM's speedo is even more optimistic than the Sabres, but I was still way over the 70mph speed limit. If that was a cop, they'd have their bubble gum lights on by now. Probably some 17 year old pizza driver with a cop style spotlight, trying to mess with me.
I sped up a bit and he stayed on my tail. So I changed lanes out of his way. Let this jerk go on up the road. No need to play games with him.
The car pulled even with me. I looked over at it. It was a cop car! The cop in the passenger seat was looking at me and signaling something. I realized it was the same hand signal kids make when they want you to do a wheelie!
WTF?
They were out of jurisdiction. I guess they still felt compelled to interact with traffic.
