Ooh, a fleece jacket exactly like the one I am wearing right now. Only purple instead of black. And the elbows aren't thin. (Yet.) Perfect.

I know, this is a boring post, but I'm trying to post more. Small things, just to keep in the habit. :)

I've been grumbling about how all my LJ friends are disappearing, and it occurred to me that I too am kinda disappearing. I fail to post about big things because big things make me too busy to write appropriate big posts, and then I fail to post about small things because they're not interesting enough. The answer seems to be, "be the change you want to see" and just freakin' post - whatever it is. Right?

The only other answer would be to follow the crowd over to Facebook. And I'm still refusing to do that.

I like Facebook. But...
- it's not really good for posting long things
- there are no controls (that work) on what I get to see
- there are few controls on who gets to see things by/about me
- therefore it's not good for posting real and/or intimate stuff
- too much to keep up with when most of it is not serious content

So yeah, I like here better, for talk that I take seriously (even if it's random or short or "uninteresting") with real people. FB is fun for really short fluff talk with real people and/or acquaintances.
