Was that you?

So there I was on my motorcycle, sitting at a red light, and a car coming up about a block behind me started flashing their headlights. And kept flashing them as they sat behind me at the light. Flash flash flash. Someone I know? If so I sure couldn't identify them just from flashing lights. I waved, they kept flashing their lights. Something wrong with my bike? I looked around and both sidecases were closed, nothing seemed to be falling off. Still they kept flashing their lights. The light changed so I just took off fast; I wanted to put some space between me and this person I didn't understand. They stopped flashing their lights as I left them behind.

Was this someone I knew? If so, please realize that flashing your lights continuously through a whole traffic light cycle is confusing and kind of menacing. Perhaps you should consider a different way of saying hi. :-)
